About Mini Fab
History
Founded by Micael Bedard Houde, mechanical designer for 25 years and a Mini passionate for just as long. After years of making parts to improve its race car and more recently for others that wanted the same upgrades, the idea began to grow. With manufacturing-oriented school curriculum and realizing how much he enjoyed making these creations, decision was made to start MiniFab.

Frame to fit a Honda D Series engine under a standard lenth Mini round nose.
B Series Frame kit

Kit includes engine craddle, hybrid axles, engine mounts, alternator bracket and B2K cable bracket. Designed to integrate B Series engine with first gen CR-V gearbox, it is also compatible with front wheel drive transmission. Subframe allows you to use original Mini suspension components and fits stock lenght round nose body.

Rear Frame Kit

Kit includes tubular frame and hybrid axles. Kit is compatible with CR-V rear differential from 1997 to 2011(B&K Series). Frame is design to integrate Miata NB rear sway bar(not included). You can run either disc brakes or drums if you want to use 10in wheels. Brakes are not included in the kit but can be installed at an extra.
Weld On Turrets

Because Mini body was never designed for coilover shocks, turrets need to be reinforced in order to cope with the extra load.
Axle Back Exhaust

Back box with the necessary piping to join to the main system in the tunnel. You then only have to connect the dots.

D Series Alt. Bracket

Tig welded aluminum bracket comes with tensioner pulley, small alternator pulley(to increase RPM) and belt. Compatible with OBD1 Civic alternator.
B Series Alt. Bracket

Tig welded stainless steel bracket, belt and tensioner pulley. Needs frame modification if you are not using Minifab frame. Compatible with OBD1 Civic alternator.
Intake Manifold

Skunk2 or OEM intake manifold cut and welded back at an angle to fit against the Mini firewall.
Upper Coolant Housings

Casted in house in our home foundry are upper coolant housing or any small parts needed for your particular setup. (D Series 90° shown)
Master Cyl. Adapter

Tig welded or cast aluminum, you are spoiled for choice. Adapter made to use Honda master cylinder while keeping standard pedal box.
COP Ready Valve Cover

Vtec D Series Valve cover modified to accept D17 coils. Threaded posts are welded and blended to make it look OEM. You choose your color then we paint and ship it to you.
Radiator

Aluminium Civic radiator modified to provide a better routing of the hoses.
B Series Tucked Header

Tig welded stainless steel manifold using cnc flange and mandrel bend tubes. Comes with collector, O2 bung and your choice of oulet diameter (ball/socket)
Shifter Rod

Shifter rod with u-joint. Will fit most popular shifters like BMW short throw or Coolerworx/CAE style levers. Comes with a shoulder bolt to replace the infamous pin.

Roll Cage(fast road)

Made of DOM tube bent and tig welded. Comes painted to your color of choise. Can be powder coated at an extra. Can also be made to your specifications or according to regulations of your particular motor sport at an extra.

Roof rack design to install on roof gutters. The wooden slats are coated with boat varnish and the hardware is stainless steel.
Throttle Pedal

Custom Exhaust Manifold
